Renault Mobilize Duo EV, offered on a subscription basis, is shared among multiple users. This poses a challenge in creating a personal and emotional connection between the car and each user.
I created a Virtual Avatar to personalize each ride, offering features like recommendations, navigation, and ride summaries to enhance the user experience.
Stronger Connection with Car.
Environmental Empowerment.
Confident and Informed User.
Large User Base Attraction.
KEY FEATURES:
Intuitive Co-Pilot: The navigation screen acts as an intuitive guide.
Voice Commands: Use voice commands like "find a place to eat" to activate the virtual companion.
Local Recommendations: Effortlessly guides users to nearby dining spots.
Personalized Journey Planner: Turn navigation into a customized experience.
Engaging Experience: Create a journey as if traveling with a knowledgeable friend.
KEY FEATURES:
Insightful Snapshot: Provides more than just basic ride details.
Carbon Emissions Tracking: Displays the carbon emissions prevented with each trip.
Feel-Good Eco-Victory: Turns the ride summary into a positive affirmation.
Affirmation of Impact: Makes users feel good about their positive impact on the planet.
The design process was iterative and included questions to explain the chosen approach. Please scroll down for a clear explanation of each step and the reasoning behind it.
To enhance Duo's user experience, I developed the Duo Virtual Companion, creating a stronger bond between the car and its user for personalized, memorable rides.
Unique in the market, this AI use case looked promising, but I wanted to test it with users.

Lessons Learned
Major tech-savvy competitors weren't fully connecting emotionally with users.
Envisioned a game-changing virtual avatar powered by GPT-4 technology:
It acts as a digital sidekick.
Knows your favorite songs.
Remember your daily commute.
Senses your mood.
Mobilize Duo caters to everyone, from adventurous youth (starting at age 14 with no license needed for the 45 km/h version) to daily office commuters and task-focused elders. Licensed drivers can reach speeds up to 80 km/h for broader commutes.
I gained insights into every potential user, ensuring a universal appeal and experience.
My customer journey map focuses on user goals and choices at each touchpoint, ensuring a well-rounded experience from start to finish.
